Services — The Blessed Vessel

Postpartum Care · New Haven, CT

You were never meant
to do this alone.

Every culture that has ever honored mothers knew something we have forgotten:
the weeks after birth are sacred — and they require tending.

Not information. Not casseroles left at the door.
Presence. Warmth. Hands that care for you while you care for your baby.

"In the ancient world, a new mother was never left alone in the first forty days. She was bathed, oiled, fed, and held — by women who understood that how she was cared for in this season would shape her for the rest of her life." — The Blessed Vessel philosophy
This is not just postpartum support. This is the art of the fourth trimester — rooted in Ayurvedic tradition, expressed through organic herbs, warming nourishment, bodywork, and unwavering presence. This is an investment into the foundation of your family's future.

I come to you. I draw the bath. I hold you, so you can hold your baby. I cook the meal. I stay — and in staying, I give you something no one else has offered:

Permission to be cared for completely.

The Golden Nest

Pregnancy through the First 42 Days

"This is the care you deserved from the beginning — starting in pregnancy, so that by the time your baby arrives, your home, your body, and your support are already in place."

We begin before birth. Two prenatal visits where I learn your body through an Ayurvedic constitution assessment, hold space for your fears, and begin crafting your personalized postpartum plan. Then, together, we transform your home in a sacred nesting session — stocking your pantry, preparing your healing space, and making sure everything is ready before labor begins.

You also join The Village Prenatal — a monthly in-person circle for pregnant women in West Haven, with a private Telegram thread so you are never without community.

Then your baby arrives. And I show up — three times a week for six weeks. Every visit, I bring everything your body needs to heal.

The One Day Immersion

A Single-Day Sanctuary

"Some women don't need ongoing support. They need one day where everything stops — and someone tends to them, completely."

This is not a check-in. This is a full ceremonial day devoted entirely to your healing — your story, your body, your breath. Ideal in the first ten days postpartum, but powerful at any point in your first seven weeks.

We open in meditation. I witness your birth story — because it deserves to be spoken out loud, to someone who truly receives it. Then we move into bodywork, a warm herbal bath drawn for you, a nourishing Ayurvedic lunch prepared and served to you while you rest. We close with belly wrapping and a final meditation that returns you to yourself.

This is what it means to be tended to completely — even for just one day.

Your immersion includes

Opening meditation
Birth story witnessing
Abhyanga bodywork session
Ritual herbal bath & tea
Warm Ayurvedic-inspired lunch
Belly wrapping
Closing meditation & blessing
